Reduce your repair time to as little as 10 minutes, all with common hand tools

QuickChange™ Bladder Repair Cartridges are designed with the operator in mind. Each QuickChange™ Bladder Repair Cartridge is an all inclusive repair part which can be kept in stock inexpensively; much less expensively than the time lost during a typical air shaft bladder repair. Using only common hand tools (pliers and hex wrenches) an operator can quickly remove the old bladder cartridge and easily insert and position the replacement in as little as ten minutes.

Button type expanding air shafts work well for narrow, thick-walled cores. All Convertech button shafts include an internal button strip to prevent unecessary maintenance work when changing the air bladder. Convertech button shafts feature our easy-to-use, QuickChange™ bladder cartridge. You can reduce your repair time to as little as 10 minutes. There are no special banding tools or hydraulic presses required. By keeping a spare bladder cartridge as a backup you can ensure maximum uptime.

Lug type air shafts are the most popular and versatile of the gripping types. They are the most economical, easiest and quickest to repair. Convertech shafts feature lugs in aluminum for light weight, steel for rough jobs, and rubber for metal or plastic cores. All Convertech lug shafts feature our easy-to-use, QuickChange™ bladder cartridge.

Convertech also offers lightweight carbon fiber air shafts. Carbon fiber air shafts feature advanced technological capabilities making this lightweight composite air shaft more rigid than comparable steel body air shafts. They are manufactured with strong, long-life bladders and in a plain carbon fiber or aluminum clad body covering.
